1. What is Bannergame.com?

BannerGame.com is selling ad spaces inside a Flash game on a limited basis. Only 600 total ads will be sold starting in March 2007 and this great viral game will be up here on BannerGame.com for 5+ years. All ads will be purchased at a one time fee and advertisers will receive great traffic from this viral game, 'Be the Monkey' as well as traffic from the game developer MonkeyBriefs.com

There are 100 banner ads in blocks of 88 x 31 pixels on each level.. We are selling the ads in 88 x 31 blocks because this is a standard small banner size and is large enough for users to be able to see the ad.

You can buy as many banners as you like, as long as they are available. However, no obscene or offensive images are allowed.

The banners you buy will be inside the flash game 'Be the Monkey' permanently as well as on the website www.bannergame.com (minimum of 5 years).

2. What makes this type of advertising different from other types?

Look around. If you have advertised elsewhere, you pretty much have seen the same old setup. There are many great sites out there that offer Banner exchanges, text link exchanges and simply buying these types of ads on a weekly or monthly basis.

If you have paid for some of these monthly ads, then you know what kind of traffic you can get for $25. Not very much I can assure you! But here at Bannergame.com, for $25/month, you can get the highest traffic, best placed banner advertisement we offer. And there is not any rotation or cpm. You simply pay one time. No matter how much traffic our site sends you, the position you pay for is guaranteed for 5 years. It is a great contract with everything in your favor as the advertiser. And what's crazy is you can buy a .83/month ad that is also guaranteed for 5 years placement. That is 83 cents a month!

3. How long will these banner ads be available?

The banner ads for sale in the flash game 'Be the Monkey' are only available on a first come, first serve basis until all 600 of them are sold. There are only 600 banners available at 88 x 31 each. Once all 6 levels are filled, this game will be locked and no more banners inside the game will be available.

4. Why haven't I ever seen in-game advertising offered like this before?

That is a great question! You haven't seen it before because this is a first in advertising. Though many of the big players in like Coca Cola, Taco Bell, Chef Boyardee and others have created their own games to advertise their companies, this is the first time a flash game has been opened up for banner spaces to multiple website advertisers. This gives the advertiser a low cost, high traffic option that has a great 'viral' potential. As 'Viral Advertising' is steadily growing throughout the ranks of the big companies, it is perfect time to take advantage of this if you simply own a website and you want your own viral traffic stream.

5. Is this the same as Advergaming?

Advergaming has been around for a long time. The earliest custom video games featuring integrated brand messages (now called advergames) and were distributed on Floppy disk in the era before substantial penetration of the World Wide Web. The first floppy disk advergames were developed to serve dual purposes -- as promotional incentives that drive response and as media that deliver awareness. The most recent of this form of advertising was the use of the King mascot from hamburger chain Burger King, starring in three video games titled the King Games series

Buying an ad in our flash game 'Be the Monkey' is certainly a form of advergaming, but throws a new twist on the term.

6. Are people going to visit the site or play the game more than once?

Of course they are! If there was no incentive to come back to the site, then this entire idea would not work. With the help of Monkeybriefs.com we have developed a game that is fun for anyone to play. But what makes this game so good is that it is customizable. In other words, before you start to play, you can upload any image of a face into the game and it will take the place of the monkey's face. Then you can send the game to as many friends as you want with your own customization. When they click on the link, they will be directed to the customized game at which time they can also upload their own face and start all over. Each time a new user clicks on a link in the e-mail, they are directed to view and play the customized game, at which time the advertiser receives impressions for the banner ad(s) that are in the game.

7. Can I buy multiple conjoined ads and use one image for my banner?

Yes you can. If you buy multiple banner spaces and want to submit us one image, we can make a collage out of the banner spaces that you purchased. This normally takes 12-36 hours to complete. Each additional banner that you purchase simply gives you that much more chance of your ad standing out, bringing more traffic to your website.
